This is the best paint for the quality and value.
I have used many other brands for interior paint. Most of them didn't last a year, the Valspar signature series is the best I have ever used. It's a little bit more, yes. But the way the paint is applied, thick and evenly, not watery at all. All of these help the job easier and look better. I am a returning customer and will continue to be.

Not worth the money
Extremely thin & watery. It dripped everywhere! It was not what I hoped considering the high price.

It's perfect
First off, the color sky light view is beautiful, not overwhelming yet now too subtle either. The coverage is excellent. I covered a light beige so I didn't need primer. My living room is about 10 x 20 and got excellent coverage with only one can. Money saved, color great....who could want anything more.

highly impressed
I've used many different brands of paint before, from expensive to cheap, and I've been highly impressed with the quality for the cost you get with Valspar. The colors have been some of the truest to the paint chips, and the coverage in the first coat is something to be rivaled with the "best". Not too thick, not thin or watery -- just right, and have come away after each project satisfied with the results. Great product!

Excellent product in the past. Semi-gloss awful.
Recently purchased 3 gal. Valspar Signature paint. Two were interior satin finish and went on great. The third was a white semi-gloss which I used for doors and trim. The satin wall paint coverage was actually excellent. But the semi-gloss was a disaster. I was painting white on white flat paint and it would not cover in one coat. Tried with a brush and a roller. Both were equally bad. I've always liked Valspar paints and will continue to buy them, but not semi-gloss (i.e., poor rating). Maybe got a bad can. I would rate the coverage for all others as excellent.

works great, excellent coverage, easy to apply
I just finished painting my living room and dining room. I used Signature in the dining room and it went on really well, covered smoothly and evenly, looks great.
I have used this paint in several rooms of my house and it very good to work with. It is one of the best paints I have worked with.
I got stuck using Valspar Ultra in the living room (mistake at the paint counter) and it was horrible. Night and day difference compared to the Signature.

The coverage is amazing
Valspar Signature paint covers so well, the color lasts, it is durable and beautiful. I painted with regular Valspar several years ago and it always looked like new. The Signature line is even better with primer included and excellent coverage. Absolutely one coat painting. No re-do needed!
