Definitely does the job
This primer holds up excellently. Really does the job. Does have a strong odor and will last a long time.

I was surprised at the one coat coverage, but with the color red, we still had to put two coats on to get it to the red color that we wanted.
I was surprised at the one coat coverage, it covered up old blue color very well, when I suspected it to just need 2 coats even with the one coat coverage. Usually it says that but never works that way.

Covered the Uncoverable
We have T1-11 siding (I think that is what it is called) and were told we could not paint it. We tried a test spot and they were correct until we used Valspar primer. It covered wonderfully and the house is now painted and we saved a fortune. Thanks Valspar!

Worked great on our outdoor projects.
We like to get crafty when the sun comes out. Our backyard is one of our favorite places during the summer so we often touch up our outdoor furniture and garden treasures with Valspar. It covers great and we have no complaints.
