Valspar Exterior Oil Based Primer

First time using Valspar oil-based primer
I decided to use this product on a few window panes that were not in the best of condition. The wood had been exposed to the elements for years without a proper painting so I removed them, sanded and patched the damaged areas with a wood hardener and applied a coat of the valspar primer. It went on well - no brush strokes and not too thin. It coated the patched areas of the wood just the same as if it were wood. I let the primer dry for 3 days before I got around to painting over it with Valspar exterior latex paint. I'll be putting the windows back in soon and will follow up with an update later in the year. So far I am happy with these products.
