Antiquing Glaze Hutch Project I used this amazing product to paint 2 boring white hutches ( Two shelves on top with three drawers on bottom. ) I painted them black first, then applied the glaze then painted them cream on top to create an amazing black and cream crackle that looks like some old hutches you may have found in a barn. They look like old country hutches, but are amazingly beautiful and stylish! I couldn't say enough good things about this product. I wish I could upload a picture so you all could see what an amazing product this stuff is! I would however suggest you do a test piece before you do your project. Only because you must paint very quickly and use just enough paint to get it covered with one or two swipes of a paint brush or roller. Or, you could blot it with a smooth sponge. It takes a couple tries to get it right, but when you do, you will be amazed with the result this product produces! :) oh, I can uplaod a photo!!!! perfect April 24, 2013

I Love It!!! I like to do alot of crafts and restoring projects. Valspar's Antiquing Glazes are so wonderful to work with when you wand to turn an old end table for an example (I really like how easy it is to use), and turn an old run down piece of funtiture into a brand new beautifull conversational piece. great antiquing quality I used this on an old wall mirror. The mirror had an old white wood frame and I wanted the frame to have a look that went well with brass and bronze. I used a bronze spray paint on the frame first, let it dry. Then I applied the antiquing glaze with my fingers (wearing rubber gloves) I was very amazed by the finish! Excellent Product! I loved working with this glaze. I got the exact effect I was going for and it didn't leave an artificial look either! It made the piece I used it on actually look like a real antique piece of furniture! It also had low odor, great coverage, and an excellent value! Would highly recommend and will use again myself! Used to make our kitchen cabinets look weathered. Fabulous finished look We bought new shaker doors and used our current cabinets to save money. We painted almond paint with light sanding between three coats. Then we applied a brown pre-mixed glaze. After drying we sanded it to make it rough and rugged looking. Then we shop vacuumed and tacky papered it. Then we glazed it with Valspar antiquinging glaze. The cabinets look like aged weathered wood. Beautiful. August 1, 2012
